Aggie Traditions
First Yell was started by the Yell Leaders in 1999 as a way of welcoming all Aggies, current and former students, back to campus to begin a new school year. First Yell occurs on the weekend of the first home football game and includes several different events.

October 2008 Program
Attention Aggie Moms!

Be sure to attend the monthly meeting of the Northwest Harris County Aggie Moms on October 14, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. We will meet for food, fun, and fellowship at the Houston Distributing Company conveniently located near Willowbrook Mall at the corner of 7100 High Life Drive and Cutten Road, just south of FM 1960.

From the first “Howdy” you experience when you visit the Texas A&M campus to the Elephant walk for seniors, come learn how the Traditions Council helps keep the unique culture of Texas A&M alive. In addition, come hear about how our club will be supporting another student organization, Change, as our annual project. This organization helps ensure eligible seniors who demonstrate financial need are able to graduate with a coveted senior ring.

The purpose of our club is to support our students, the university’s many clubs and organizations, and each other as our students go through this important stage in their lives. Come be part of this friendly and supportive group of women. We can’t wait to have you join us!

Please call if you have any questions.
