Aggie Traditions

First Yell was started by the Yell Leaders in 1999 as a way of welcoming all Aggies, current and former students, back to campus to begin a new school year. First Yell occurs on the weekend of the first home football game and includes several different events.

February 2007 Program

Please join the Northwest Harris County Aggie Moms Club on Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at The Houston Distributing Company, 7100 High Life Drive, Houston TX 77070. The Social Time begins at 7:00 p.m. with the meeting following at 7:30 p.m. Our speaker for the February meeting is Debbie Jasek. Debbie is an Associate Research Specialist for the Texas Transportation Institute and is a member of the ATMentor program on the College Station campus. ATMentors is an organization made up of TAMU faculty, staff, and administrators who volunteer extra office hours to make themselves available to students who just want to talk to someone. There are currently around 165 mentors at the College Station campus. ATMentors is the Aggie Moms Federations’ project for 2006-07.
