CAMPUS SAFETY SUBJECT OF AGGIE MOMS CLUB SEPTEMBER MEETING

Texas A&M has a new system in place to communicate with students in case of emergency.   Northwest Harris County Aggie Moms will learn about Code Maroon in September, when Texas A&M University Police Officers Dee Donovan and Kristi Hosea explain the system, put in place immediately following the Virginia Tech shootings last spring.

They work closely with the student resident population and promote all aspects of crime prevention for Texas A&M University.  In addition, they work with the neighboring community as part of Community Oriented Police Services (C.O.P.S.).

The Northwest Harris County Aggie Moms Club meets the second Tuesday of each month (September thru May) at The Houston Distributing Company at 7100 High Life Drive Houston TX  77066.  Social time begins at 7 pm with meeting starting at 7:30 p.m.
